A concert was held in Liverpool to an audience of 5,000 people without masks

The mini-festival is part of the Events Research Program promoted by the government to assess the risk of Covid transmission
leggi
The UK government has in recent weeks launched the Events Research Program to assess the risk of Covid transmission during events attended by large audiences. One of the experiments selected in the program was a concert held in Liverpool last Sunday to an audience of 5,000 fans. The attendees took a rapid test the day before the event, but no mask or social distancing was required during the concert. The experiment will also be an opportunity to study other factors such as movement and interaction among the audience, ventilation, and food and alcohol consumption. The goal is to understand if concerts can actually take place after the 21st of June as planned by the UK government.
