The books turning 95 years old in 2021

The works published during "the greatest year for books ever" have been in the public domain since the 1st of January
Since the 1st of January, 2021, a new group of literary, cinematographic and musical works have entered the public domain in the United States. These books, films and music were published 95 years ago, during what has been called “the greatest year for books ever”. In fact, the writer Jane Ciabattari explained that 1925 was a year with unique characteristics, when major works were written and the style of prose changed. The books reflected the world of the “lost generation”, a generation devastated by the brutality of the First World War. F. Scott Fitzgerald's The Great Gatsby and Virginia Woolf's Mrs. Dalloway are among the English-language works published in 1925.
