Entertainment during lockdown

Online concerts and theatre performances, virtual festivals and tutorials: artists are looking for ways to stay connected during isolation
leggi
All live events were suspended during the months of lockdown. Many artists performed online and some even directly involved their fans. The singer from Snow Patrol wrote more than 10 songs together with his 5,000 Instagram followers, asking for suggestions on chords and lyrics. Some artists made guitar and dance tutorials or took part in listening parties. In these virtual events, musicians and fans listen to the same music simultaneously and share their thoughts and emotions on social networks. Many theatrical performances also moved online onto platforms such as Zoom. The audience was even directly involved in some performances: spectators were asked to reproduce sounds or to turn off the lights.
