On the 1st of December 2019, the National Gallery of Victoria in Melbourne inaugurated the exhibition: "Keith Haring - Jean-Michel Basquiat: Crossing Lines". For the first time, the exhibition illustrates the connections between the work of the two artists through more than 200 works of street art, paintings, sculptures, photographs, and objects.
With the closure of the museum, the website began to provide visitors with a virtual tour, allowing visitors to explore the spaces of the exhibition in 3D. The visit is accompanied by an audio guide that explains the main topics over 18 stages. Some of the topics covered are the New York scene, the development of visual language and artistic influences, the use of the self-portrait, social justice, and racism.
