Shakespeare 2016

400 years after his death, the Bard will be remembered with events and activities in Stratford-on-Avon, London and throughout England
The 23rd of April, 2016 marks the 400th anniversary of William Shakespeare's death. A series of events and activities will remember the English playwright throughout the year. In the town of Stratford-on-Avon, exhibitions and shows will be set up and the Royal Shakespeare Company will stage new plays. The renovation of the New Place has been completed to mark the occasion, the very location of the house where Shakespeare lived the last 19 years of his life.
