The Charles Dickens Museum is located in London in one of the houses where the novelist lived with his family. Several events are being held this Christmas season to give you the chance to relive the atmosphere experienced by Dickens in the 1800s.
The Victorian house will be dressed with typical Christmas decorations of the 19th century throughout the month of December.
Various shows and plays of "A Christmas Carol" will be performed. Written by Dickens in 1843, it is one of the most famous stories about Christmas. Candlelit evenings with the scents of spice and citrus are offered to immerse yourself in the Christmas atmosphere.
On Christmas Eve, you can also listen to "A Christmas Carol" throughout the house and learn how to prepare a Christmas pudding.
